Chiquititas

Synopsis: Lassies and laddies open a new chapter in the book of their lives. They have lost everything: all they have left is the hope to find a place in the world where they can be happy again.

Guided by a magic star they get to the Nook of Light home. It looks different now, but its revamped walls have preserved the essence of the everlasting space of childhood, where life consists of love, dream and play.

There they find a new world, peopled by creatures that seem to have been lured there by a mysterious pull out of the loneliness and hopelessness in their hearts. Thus they meet Luz, Enzo and new neighbors. Unawares, they live with a strange presence, an unseen witness that looms in the shadows: the ghost of Rafael Sanders.

The children will have to unravel the mystery that haunts the home, while tackling the marvelous and daunting challenge of growing up. They discover friendship, first love, disappointment, laughter and tears, the fear of freedom, while they strive to survive in a world that seems oblivious of them. Removed from the protection of an institution, they have to invent their own universe for which they will be responsible, and which will not survive unless they prove to be caring and sharing.

This eerie lifestyle, steeped in magic, humor and adventure, will leave nobody untouched. Adults will discover the little child inside, and with it the courage to fight for their newly found dreams.
